Boggs Mtn. Humane Shelter, Inc. is a No Kill agency. Our mission is to stem the tide of unwanted and abused animals in northeast Georgia, through sustainable programs of Education, Low Cost Spay/Neuter, Adoption, Return of lost animals to their owners, and Transfer of animals into coalition No Kill partners.
Our Values
We look for creative ways to solve difficult challenges. We embrace the philosophy of the American Humane Association which incorporates Animal Control, Community Education, and Animal Sterilization as essential components to controlling animal overpopulation.
Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter is a non-profit, 501 C3 organization receiving funds from and operates on private donors, corporate donors, grants, and fund-raising events. At Boggs Humane Shelter we have a Director, staff members, an advisory board, a web designer, and Board Members to help us at the shelter.
